Perlita, meaning little pearl, is a 34' Webbers Cove trawler built in Maine. Perlita, aka, the Flower of Scotland was bought by Rainer and Catherine in Port Dover, ON and brought to Oakville, ON, was renamed, refurbished and prepared for it's trip down south via the Erie Barge Canal, Hudson River and the intercoastal waterways to the Florida Keys. The folloing pages are images and stories from this trip that began in the summer of 2009 for a period of 12 months until the summer of 2010.
